The Bayer Crop Science Innovation Center grows their own stink bugs to be used in experiments. Without a constant supplier, the labs found it easier to take on the growth of the bugs themselves.<br />
The Bayer Crop Science Innovation Center was established in 2010 and employs researchers in genetics, genomics and agricultural biotechnology. Much of the company’s seed and trait R&D goes through this center, which is located just miles from the Bayer greenhouses that will grow the seeds developed at the Innovation Center.
