Brazilian soybean plants reach the end of their life cycle in Greenhouse 5. These pants are considered to have "stacked traits", meaning they have been genetically modified to have more than one specific trait created in the lab, such as insect resistance or herbicide tolerance. This plant has one insect trait and one herbicide trait.<br />
The Bayer Crop Science Research Triangle Park main campus houses 2 large greenhouses which are used to test grow many of the seeds that are modified nearby at the Innovation Center. Another greenhouses is currently under construction.
