May 8, 2015. Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Bartender Christian Madsen pours a glass of Old Scout 10 Year bourbon.
The Crunkleton, located on Franklin Street, specializes in fine cocktails and with its massive selection of liquors and highly trained bartenders, they can suit almost any taste.
Outsiders tend to lump Chapel Hill with nearby Durham, but the more sensible pairing is with Carrboro, the adjacent town that was once a mere offshoot known as West End. Even today the transition from Chapel Hill, anchored by North Carolina'’s flagship public university, into downtown Carrboro is virtually seamless.
