August 20, 2011. Chapel Hill, NC.. Eric Nelson, a UNC sophmore, loads up on water bottles that he and other American Eagle volunteers will hand out to spread awareness of the brand while helping incoming students with their stuff and giving away coupons on move in day.. Many companies have increased their efforts to reach the youth market by employing popular college students to raise the awareness of the brand by peer to peer marketing on campus' around the country.
