February 26, 2013. Nag's Head, North Carolina. The remnants of sand fences, which are supposed to help rebuild storm blocking dunes, along the shoreline of the Outer Banks.  . Tracing the path of Hurricane Sandy, which wrecked havoc on the northeastern seaboard from October 25-31, 2012. The storm caused flooding and caused an estimated 60 billion dollars worth of damage to affected areas.
