The International Civil Rights Center & Museum is an archival center, collecting museum devoted to the international struggle for civil and human rights. The Museum celebrates the nonviolent protests of the 1960 Greensboro sit-ins, which served as a catalyst in the civil rights movement and whose 50th anniversary is Monday, February 1st, 2010. . A reconstruction of the North Carolina A&T State University dorm room where the Greensboro 4 planned the sit-ins can be seen behind a screen that will show film of the 4 when the museum opens.
