January 30, 2010. Greensboro, North Carolina.. The International Civil Rights Center & Museum is an archival center, collecting museum devoted to the international struggle for civil and human rights. The Museum celebrates the nonviolent protests of the 1960 Greensboro sit-ins, which served as a catalyst in the civil rights movement and whose 50th anniversary is Monday, February 1st, 2010. .  The lunch counter where the sit-ins occurred has been reconstructed in the museum, including the original chairs where the Greensboro 4 sat and newspaper clippings from those days have been added.
