April 21, 2009. Murrells Inlet, SC.. After years of hosting hundreds of thousands of bikers for the annual Bike Week and Black Bike Week rallies, the city council of Myrtle Beach has passed new motorcycle laws to try and put an end to the rallies and promote a more family oriented experience. Many local business owners are outraged at the loss off revenue and the ordinances are to be challenged in court.. At Suck Bang Blow, a famous biker bar which is outside the city limits so not under the new rules, they are promoting the Harley rally for this year and encouraging bikers to not spend any money in Myrtle Beach in protest of the regulations.
