Little has changed in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans since the devastating floods that followed hurricane Katrina. Some streets have been cleared but the neighborhood, one of the hardest hit in the storm, remains a ghost town with few residents returning and thousands of abandoned houses and cars filling the landscape.. Personal articles are strewn about the demolished neighborhood, bringing thoughts of those who passed away or have moved on after the flood.
