The Duke University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program is one of the top programs in the country for the training of physician's assistants. PA's are in high demand, and are taking over many of the tasks traditionally done by MD's, so the competition for the program is intense. In the most recent class, there were only 88 spots for a application pool of 1600.
