After a press conference by the NAACP announcing the start of the NC NAACP v. McCrory trial, spokespeople for the NC Republican Party revealed a new website "Immoral Mondays" which purports to expose out of state union support for the Moral Monday movement.
The NC NAACP contests that HB 589 (Voter ID requirements) violate Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act (42 U.S.C. 1973) and the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments of the Constitution.
