MARC EDWARDS AND HIS DAUGHTER move water samples from Flint, MI into one of the labs Edwards oversees. Both of the Edwards children spent 2 weeks in Flint helping with the continued water sampling efforts.<br />
Marc Edwards is a civil engineering/environmental engineer and the Charles P. Lunsford Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech. He is an expert in water quality and corrosion, and his work in Washington DC and in Flint, Michigan helped to expose high levels of lead contamination in the water supplies of those two cities, triggering investigations into the cause of the pollution.
